Our client is a respected building materials manufacturer seeking a Technical Sales Representative to manage an established territory covering GTA East and Northern Ontario.

This opportunity has become available due to an upcoming retirement, creating a rare opportunity to learn from an industry expert before assuming responsibility for a well-established territory built on long-standing customer relationships.

This is a project-driven sales role focused on building upon a well-established foundation while identifying new opportunities across commercial, industrial, agricultural, and construction markets.

What You'll Do
  • Manage and grow an established contractor and builder customer base
  • Review blueprints and perform material takeoffs for project quotations
  • Call on General Contractors, Builders, Estimators, and Project Managers
  • Provide technical product and application support
  • Identify opportunities early in the project cycle
  • Develop new business while strengthening existing relationships
  • Travel throughout the territory (60-70%)
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of building materials, construction products, or technical sales experience
  • Blueprint reading and material takeoff experience is mandatory
  • Strong relationship-building and account development skills
  • Commercially minded with an interest in understanding the broader business beyond sales
  • Self-motivated and comfortable managing a large territory independently
