Based in Toronto, Neda specializes in recruiting for the Design and Architecture sector across North America. Neda joined DMC Recruitment from a large international recruitment firm where she also specialized in all things Architecture and Design.Neda is focused in working with her clients and candidates in the Architecture & Design industry working with various search engagements of specific positions throughout North America including; Principal, Director, Senior Architect, Architect, Technologist, Designer, Project Manager and other positions within small to large architecture and engineering design firms within this discipline.Neda grew up in a very large, loud and extremely close family which ultimately contributed to her love for all things people related. After completing her degree in Sociology, Neda began her career in the sales industry. After over a decade of working in a multitude of exciting and differing sectors, she stumbled into the recruiting world, and the rest is history. The client is a leading architectural firm specializing in large-scale projects across various sectors. The client prides itself on delivering exceptional quality and innovative solutions for its clients. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Architectural Technologist to join the team and contribute to a long-term hospital project in Ontario.
 
Job Description:
The client is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist with 8+ years of experience. This individual will be responsible for drafting, modeling, and detailing using Revit and will play a crucial role in large project teams utilizing shared Revit models.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in Design Development (DD) and Construction Documentation (CD) phases of large-scale projects.
  • Utilize Revit for drafting, modeling, and detailing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Collaborate with large project teams, effectively managing shared Revit models.
  • Produce high-quality architectural drawings, demonstrating attention to detail and precision.
  • Work on a long-term hospital project in Ontario, contributing to the overall success of the project.
  • Take direction well and work efficiently within a team, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a genuine care for the quality of work produced.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit with strong skills in drafting, modeling, and detailing.
  • Experience working on large projects, particularly in a team environment using shared Revit models.
  • P3 (Public-Private Partnership) experience is an asset but not required.
  • Demonstrated longevity in previous roles, showcasing commitment and reliability.
  • Ability to produce excellent quality drawings—candidates must be prepared to provide samples prior to interviews.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, easy to work with, and capable of taking direction well.
