PROJECT MANAGER

Location: Winnipeg, MB or Kelowna, BC or Ontario
Compensation: $80k - $110k
On behalf of a well-established, award-winning architecture and interior design firm, we are seeking an experienced Chef de projet to join a collaborative, design-driven team.
This role is ideal for someone who brings calm confidence to complexity and enjoys being the connective force between design vision and built reality. The Project Manager will lead projects from early coordination through construction, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and a strong client experience at every stage.

OPPORTUNITY
As a Project Manager, you will play a critical role in the successful execution of architectural projects. You'll work closely with internal design teams, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered thoughtfully, efficiently, and in alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage architectural projects from design development through construction
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, suppliers, and owners
  • Lead construction administration activities, including:
    • Responding to RFIs
    • Issuing PCNs, SIs, and Change Orders
    • Processing payment certificates
    • Conducting site visits and issuing site observation reports
    • Attending and chairing project meetings
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and documentation
  • Review work for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals
  • Support and collaborate with internal project teams
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Anticipate issues and proactively communicate solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in architectural project management (commercial and/or residential)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable working directly with clients and consultants
  • Solid understanding of construction documentation, drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • Experience with construction processes and building codes
  • Proficiency in Revit (or similar BIM software), AutoCAD, and MS Office is considered an asset
  • Proven experience in contract administration (essential)
  • Degree or diploma in Architecture or Architectural Technology ou
  • Project Management diploma/certificate or PMP designation (or actively working toward it)
