A well-established, privately held distributor of industrial supply products is seeking an Représentant des ventes extérieures to grow and support business across the Kansas City market. The Opportunity:
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for customers within your territory, managing relationships face-to-face while actively developing new business. You’ll work closely with internal sales and operations teams to ensure exceptional service, from initial opportunity through delivery.

What You’ll Do:
- Prospect and develop new customer accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
- Manage and grow existing accounts by identifying new applications and sales opportunities
- Build strong, long-term relationships with customers across industrial and commercial markets
- Close daily sales opportunities and continuously expand the customer base
- Communicate regularly with internal teams and management regarding orders, opportunities, and customer needs
- Maintain and grow technical knowledge of performance plastics, products, and applications
- Follow up on leads and application-driven opportunities
- Contribute to overall branch and team success through collaboration and accountability
- Minimum 2 years of outside sales experience in industrial distribution, or a related field
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Comfort working independently in a territory-based, travel-heavy role
- Reliable personal vehicle and willingness to travel extensively, including occasional overnight travel
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive sales mindset
