Fluently bilingual in French and English, Caroline conducts searches on behalf of clients in the Building Materials industry (Manufacturers, Distributors, and LBM Retail/Buying Groups) across North America. Located in Quebec and a Francophone, Caroline has a particular skillset recruiting French, Bilingual, and roles based in Quebec and the Maritime provinces.Caroline is a collaborative consultant who puts the well-being of her clients and candidates at the center of her focus and work. Are you a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment? Do you have strong analytical skills and a passion for driving sales success? Our client, a rapidly growing distributor of premium wood products, is looking for an Inside Sales Representative ready to bring their expertise and take ownership of their role.

With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and sustainability, our client is a key player in the building materials industry, serving manufacturers, builders, and designers across North America. As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute strategically, optimize processes, and grow into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relationships and ensure a seamless sales process from order to delivery.
  • Analyze data and market trends to identify sales opportunities and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Support the Outside Sales team with quoting, project coordination, and high-level client interactions.
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Act as a key point of contact for customer inquiries, claims, and service needs.
  • Work closely with the leadership team on strategic sales initiatives and business growth.
  • Work closely with the Trucking Coordinator to arrange logistics and ensure timely deliveries while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in building materials or wood products.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel (comfortable working with numbers and data-driven decisions).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to change.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
This is an in-person role reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, offering a clear pathway to career advancement in a company that values expertise and initiative.
