A well-established, privately held leader in industrial distribution is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support continued growth in the Kansas City market. This organization serves a wide range of industrial customers across North America and is known for its strong culture, customer-first mindset, and long-term employee tenure.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated inside sales professional who enjoys building relationships, developing accounts, and becoming a trusted product resource within a highly technical, solution-oriented industry.

The Opportunity:
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving revenue by supporting existing customers and proactively developing new business. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their applications, recommend solutions, and ensure a seamless sales experience from inquiry to order fulfillment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Proactively develop new customer accounts through outbound calls, prospecting, referrals, and networking
  • Support and grow existing accounts by identifying opportunities to expand share of wallet
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and convert leads into sales
  • Build strong, trusted customer relationships through product knowledge and responsive service
  • Maintain and grow technical understanding of performance plastics, applications, and solutions
  • Conduct regular outbound customer touches to drive engagement and repeat business
  • Collaborate with the broader branch team to support overall sales and service goals
Ce que vous apportez :
  • Inside sales or customer-facing experience in distribution, industrial products, or a related field
  • A strong customer-service mindset with excellent communication skills
  • A proactive, positive attitude and a desire to grow in sales
  • Comfort making outbound calls and engaging customers by phone and email
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also managing individual responsibilities
  • Industry experience in industrial distribution is an asset, but not required
