Based in Toronto, Neda specializes in recruiting for the Design and Architecture sector with a specific niche in contract furniture across North America. Neda joined DMC Recruitment from a large international recruitment firm where she also specialized in all things Architecture and Design.Neda is focused in working with her clients and candidates in the Architecture & Design industry working with various search engagements of specific positions throughout North America including; Principal, Director, Senior Architect, Architect, Technologist, Designer, Project Manager and other positions within small to large architecture and engineering design firms within this discipline.Neda grew up in a very large, loud and extremely close family which ultimately contributed to her love for all things people related. After completing her degree in Sociology, Neda began her career in the sales industry. After over a decade of working in a multitude of exciting and differing sectors, she stumbled into the recruiting world, and the rest is history. Here she has been able to combine her love for people, sales and helping others to find the career of their dreams.Neda excels at truly understanding what motivates candidates and clients, which allows her to make that personal connection that is so needed when helping individuals find the right employer, and employers find the right candidates to fit their needs. Our client is a long-standing, well-respected name in the contract furniture industry, known for delivering exceptional design-driven solutions across corporate, commercial, and institutional environments. They are now seeking an experienced Directeur du développement commercial to help lead their next phase of growth in Vancouver.

This is an incredible opportunity for a passionate and connected sales professional to represent a trusted brand, strengthen relationships with key partners in the A&D and end-user community, and play a pivotal role in re-energizing the company’s presence in the market.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Champion the brand across the local market, building visibility and credibility within the design and business community.
  • Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the company’s culture, expertise, and portfolio.
  • Reconnect and grow relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, and end-users.
  • Lead the business development strategy, identifying new opportunities and nurturing long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver creative, tailored workplace solutions.
  • Contribute to brand positioning and business growth strategies to bring the organization back to its prime market position.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the furniture, design, or architectural products industry.
  • Established network within the A&D community and a proven ability to open doors and win new business.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a confident, polished presence.
  • Strategic thinker with a collaborative approach and passion for relationship building.
  • Self-driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to make an impact.
