About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager for our London, Ontario branch. This is a role for a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by both financial rewards and professional advancement. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with a positive, professional attitude and a deep understanding of the electrical distribution landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with existing and prospective clients to identify potential product needs.
- Respond to and process incoming calls and orders with high efficiency.
- Open new accounts and provide strategic support to existing customers.
- Make proactive outbound calls to generate new business opportunities.
- Provide pricing quotes and follow up diligently on outstanding quotations.
- Offer technical product support and maintain up-to-date industry knowledge.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term partnership development.
- Post-secondary education
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Previous sales experience and knowledge of the Canadian electrical industry
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to develop long-term client relationships
- Highly organized with strong multitasking and attention to detail
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn products quickly
- Experience preparing quotations, bid packages, and pricing proposals
- Willingness to work overtime when required and contribute to a team-focused environment
