Our client is seeking a Furniture Account Representative (FAR) to manage and grow contract furniture sales across Southwestern Ontario.

Compensation: $65,000-$75,000 base + commission
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Furniture Account Representative (FAR) to manage and grow contract furniture sales across the Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, and London region. This is a hybrid, field-based role ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys territory ownership, new business development, and long-term account growth.
You'll serve as the contract furniture subject-matter expert within your territory—developing new opportunities while managing an established book of business across mid-market and large commercial accounts.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and grow furniture sales across the Kitchener-Waterloo-Guelph-London territory
- Develop new business while expanding penetration within existing accounts
- Manage your own book of Strategic, Large, and Mid-Market customers
- Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers and influencers
- Conduct independent prospecting and collaborate with internal sales partners
- Deliver professional sales presentations and solution-based proposals
- Support clients with space measurements and tailored furniture solutions
- Achieve revenue, margin, retention, and penetration targets within the territory
- $2M-$3.5M annual sales across assigned accounts and territory
- Post-secondary education in Sales, Marketing, Business, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of outside sales experience with a strong new-business focus
- 2+ years facilitating strategic, collaborative meetings with senior stakeholders, including:
- Executives, Facility Managers, Procurement, A&D professionals, and Contractors
- Proven ability to deliver polished sales presentations
- Comfortable conducting site visits, taking measurements, and recommending solutions
- Strong technical aptitude (Microsoft Office; ability to learn vendor systems)
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a hybrid role
- Base salary: $65,000-$75,000 + commission
