Our client, a leading Canadian manufacturer and supplier of premium lumber and building materials, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and develop their customer base across Eastern Ontario, Quebec and the Atlantic. They supply products to distribution networks, big box retailers, and buying groups, and are recognized for their commitment to quality, innovation, and outstanding customer service.
Your Role:
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding the company's reach across Eastern Canada by developing and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering exceptional service that drives growth. You will report directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing and play a pivotal role in achieving ambitious sales targets.
What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience in the Building Materials Industry; knowledge of lumber or wood panels is an asset.
- Strong track record in sales growth and business development.
- Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across Eastern Canada.
- Ideally based in Ontario or Quebec.
- Bilingual (French & English) is an asset.
- Competitive base salary of $100-130K.
- Performance-based bonus (first-year expectation of $150K total compensation).
