Vice President, Operations – British Columbia

$200,000–$220,000 Base Salary + Performance-Based Bonus

The Opportunity Our client is a well-established, growing organization with 40+ years of success, offering innovative and inspirational products across multiple categories that are valued by both consumers and professionals.
They are looking for a Vice President, Operations to take ownership of the organization's operational strategy and execution. This is a high-impact leadership position responsible for driving operational excellence across supply chain, logistics, inventory, quality, facilities, and people.
This is an opportunity for a strategic and hands-on operations leader to make a meaningful impact on the business — improving processes, strengthening the organization, developing teams, and helping position the company for its next stage of growth.

Ce que vous ferez :
  • Lead all aspects of day-to-day operations, including supply chain, logistics, inventory, warehousing, quality, and customer service.
  • Develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, scalability, profitability, and overall business performance.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, using data and analytics to identify opportunities and drive measurable improvements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop managers and supervisors, building a high-performing and accountable operations team.
  • Build strong relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, contractors, and strategic partners.
  • Oversee budgets, forecasts, reporting, and operational performance for the leadership team.
  • Provide oversight of company facilities across North America and China, as well as third-party logistics providers.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, accountability, and operational excellence.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging risks to help the organization identify opportunities and protect the business.
  • Oversee operational legal, compliance, risk management, and product liability matters.
What You'll Bring:
  • A strong business mindset with the financial acumen to understand costs, margins, budgets, and profitability.
  • Proven experience using data and KPIs to make decisions and improve operational performance.
  • A track record of building, leading, and developing high-performing teams.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and lead effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Deep operational knowledge across areas such as supply chain, logistics, warehousing, inventory, and customer service.
  • Experience working with Asian manufacturing partners/factories is a significant asset.
  • Experience with contracts, vendor negotiations, compliance, and risk management.
Your Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive operations leadership experience, ideally within a distribution, manufacturing, or related environment.
  • Strong experience managing budgets, costs, forecasts, and operational KPIs.
  • Demonstrated success leading large teams and implementing meaningful operational improvements.
  • Comfortable operating at both the strategic and tactical levels.
  • A natural leader who thrives on building teams, improving processes, and driving results.
