Neda joined DMC Recruitment from a large international recruitment firm where she also specialized in all things Architecture and Design.Neda is focused in working with her clients and candidates in the Architecture & Design industry working with various search engagements of specific positions throughout North America including; Principal, Director, Senior Architect, Architect, Technologist, Designer, Project Manager and other positions within small to large architecture and engineering design firms within this discipline.Neda grew up in a very large, loud and extremely close family which ultimately contributed to her love for all things people related. After completing her degree in Sociology, Neda began her career in the sales industry. After over a decade of working in a multitude of exciting and differing sectors, she stumbled into the recruiting world, and the rest is history. Territory Manager – Commercial A&D
Location: Toronto, ON
Salary: $80,000 + commissions


About the Role: Our client, a leading commercial flooring company, is seeking an experienced Business Development & Account Manager to drive specification sales and strengthen relationships within Toronto’s Architect & Design (A&D) community. This Canadian owned and operated company is focused on commercial flooring solutions - this role will focus on carpet solutions, working closely with designers, architects, and end users to secure product specifications, manage key accounts, and grow market share.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with architects, designers, and specifiers to position our client's products as the preferred choice.
  • Drive product adoption by influencing project specifications and working closely with design and construction teams.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities within the corporate, hospitality, education, and institutional sectors to expand market reach.
  • Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including estimators, project managers, and installation teams, to deliver seamless project execution.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and A&D presentations to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Proven experience in a business development or account management role within the commercial flooring, interior finishes, or building materials industry.
  • Established network within the Toronto A&D community, with a strong ability to influence design decisions.
  • Experience in specification sales, particularly with commercial carpet or other flooring solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to engage with architects, designers, and key decision-makers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and specifications through long sales cycles.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
