Technical Territory Sales Representative
Location: Vancouver, BC
Compensation: 70k to 90k + Monthly Bonuses + Car Allowance + Vacation

Position Overview
The Territory Sales Representative will be responsible for expanding sales by developing new business and strengthening existing relationships throughout Western Canada and the U.S., while working from a Vancouver base. This role requires a technically capable, relationship-driven sales professional who is comfortable traveling and engaging directly with decision-makers across the construction value chain.
You will play a key role in pulling demand through distribution, supporting product adoption, and helping execute a strategic growth plan in collaboration with internal sales, technical, and operations teams. The role involves working closely with Commercial General Contractors, Distribution Centres, Architects, and Designers, providing both sales leadership and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow new business opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
- Travel throughout Western Canada and the U.S. to support customers and drive market expansion
- Work closely with distribution partners to generate demand and increase product penetration
- Deliver product presentations and provide technical guidance to contractors, architects, and designers
- Proactively prospect, cold-call, and close new business using a strong hunter mindset
- Read, understand, and interpret technical drawings to support product applications
- Collaborate with internal sales, technical, and operations teams to ensure seamless customer service
- Represent the company professionally at industry events, job sites, and customer meetings
- MUST HAVE: Post-secondary education is highly important for this role
- College diploma or post-graduate certificate in a related field such as:
- Construction Engineering Technology
- Civil Engineering Technology
- Technologie de l'architecture
- Equivalent technical education will be considered
- College diploma or post-graduate certificate in a related field such as:
- 3+ years of outside sales experience within construction, building materials, or a related industry
- Strong understanding of construction processes and building material applications
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Comfortable with cold calling and balancing hunter and relationship-driven sales activities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage a multi-territory workload
- $75,000 – $90,000 base salary, plus monthly sales bonus
