Annie is an experienced Recruiter with a proven track record of success within the Architecture, Design, and Construction industry. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.Annie also has 14 years of experience in Vancouver, BC as a Commercial Interior Designer, specializing in Workplace and Financial Institutions. With Annie’s experience and well-developed network of industry professionals in both Commercial and Residential sectors, she not only has the technical design knowledge, hands-on project experience, she also has the deep-rooted connections within the market needed to develop exceptional client and candidate relationships.Annie puts her design expertise and industry network to use on a variety of search engagements in the Architecture and Design industry. She has successfully placed positions within both small and large architecture and design firms, including Junior - Senior Interior Designers and Architects as well as Project Coordinators and Project Manager that have established a strong retention rate with the Clients she has placed with.Annie works personally and professionally with both her clients and candidates, creating long-term relationships with key players in the Architecture & Design industries. She is an active member in the Architecture & Design community and regularly attends industry networking events. As a Member of Interior Designers Institute of British Columbia, Annie is constantly developing her skill set and design knowledge to align with the ever-changing market. Prior to her role at DMC Recruitment Group, Annie worked as a Registered Interior Designer at notable firms in Vancouver, such as MCM Interiors, Stantec Architecture, and SSDG Interiors.Annie developed her deep-rooted network not only through work, but also as a member of IDIBC for nearly 20 years. During this time, she served as a Member of IDIBC’s events committee and Newsletter Chair in collaboration with Board Members. As a Canadian with a US degree, Annie experienced firsthand the challenges of breaking into the local A&D industry. As a result, Annie supported design students with their career goals by becoming a “go-to” resource for the industry with her strong labour market knowledge.In 2018, Annie took this passion and pivoted into the Career Development/Employment Services field and received her Career Development Practitioner certificate from Simon Fraser University. Annie has given back to the community by volunteering as an Interior Design mentor in BCIT Student Association’s mentorship program. TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE, SPORTS (WESTERN CANADA)
Location: Calgary, AB; Vancouver Lower Mainland, BC preferred
Reports to: National Sales Manager
Salary Range: $75,000 – $90,000 base salary (depending on experience) Commission Structure: Uncapped, with the potential to earn up to $30,000 at full target achievement

Our Client is looking for a driven Territory Sales Representative, Sports to take their Western Canada market to the next level. This is your chance to play a key role in shaping the future of sports and recreation spaces across BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba.

What You’ll Do
  • Build and grow relationships with school boards, municipalities, architects, facility managers, and contractors to secure specifications and drive sales.
  • Conduct 15–20 weekly visits to clients including park and recreation entities, private schools, and design firms.
  • Be the face of our Client in the Western Canadian region, educating partners, presenting product demos, hosting “lunch & learns,” and supporting dealer and network partners.
  • Track and grow your pipeline through our Client's CRM, from first introduction to project close.
  • Represent our Client at trade shows and industry events, and organize customer visits to our facilities.
  • Provide after-sales support, including training, maintenance demos, and project photography.
  • Share valuable market intelligence and help influence future product innovation.

What You Bring
  • A hunter’s mindset with proven experience in sales and specification (ideally 5+ years).
  • Experience engaging multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles—from architects and designers to facility managers and contractors.
  • Strong organizational skills and comfort managing a large pipeline of projects.
  • A track record of winning in institutional/education, municipal, or recreation markets is a big plus.
  • Self-motivation, accountability, and the ability to thrive in a travel-heavy, relationship-driven role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business (or equivalent experience).
