Our client, a well-established national distributor in the electrical wire and cable sector, is seeking a Sales Manager to lead their Winnipeg operations. This role is ideal for a sales leader who excels at team development, customer relationship management, and driving regional growth within a technical, fast-paced environment.

About the Role
As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for both strategic oversight and the day-to-day execution of the branch's sales goals. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the branch's market presence while fostering a high-performance culture.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Lead and support the local sales team, ensuring objectives are met and exceeded. Work closely with senior leadership to align team performance with broader organizational goals.
  • Deliver exceptional service by supporting order processing and responding to technical inquiries. Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Manitoba market through strategic outreach and consultative relationship building.
  • Coordinate with operations and purchasing teams to ensure accuracy in order entry, quotations, and account setup. Maintain strong internal communication to ensure efficient scheduling and resource allocation.

Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education preferred.
  • 5+ years of previous sales or inside sales experience, ideally within a technical or industrial environment.
  • Proven ability to lead a team and build long-term customer relationships.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a branch setting.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn product lines quickly; electrical industry knowledge is a significant asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
    A professional, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach to work.
