Compensation: $85,000-$110,000 base + bonus
The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager - Contract Furniture to lead and develop a high-performing sales team across a national or multi-provincial region. This role is ideal for a collaborative sales leader with deep experience in contract furniture or commercial interiors who enjoys coaching teams, driving regional growth, and strengthening long-term customer relationships.
You'll work closely with senior sales leadership to shape regional strategy, forecast performance, and expand market penetration—while remaining hands-on in the field supporting active opportunities and key accounts.
What You'll Be Doing
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop a team of furniture sales professionals
- Lead regional sales performance across revenue, profitability, penetration, and retention targets
- Participate in sales calls, field days, project meetings, and business reviews alongside your team
- Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key regional accounts
- Conduct regular 1:1s to support deal execution, remove barriers, and guide career development
- Lead account planning and regional growth initiatives
- Partner with senior leadership on sales strategy, forecasting, and regional planning
- Collaborate with internal teams (pricing, implementation, marketing, sales enablement) and manufacturing partners
- Ensure accurate CRM usage, forecasting, and reporting across the region
- Drive consistent execution of sales processes, performance metrics, and customer experience standards
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field
- 7-10 years of progressive B2B sales experience in project-based or solutions-driven environments
- 3-5 years of experience in contract furniture or related industries (commercial interiors, architectural products, building materials)
- 3+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching and performance management
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
- Strong relationships within A&D, commercial real estate, facilities, construction, and procurement communities
- Demonstrated success achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
- Strong skills in sales planning, forecasting, account strategy, and regional growth
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operationally intensive environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills
- High business, financial, and operational acumen
- Technically proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Base salary: $85,000-$110,000 + performance bonus
