We are partnering with our long-time Client, a respected, boutique, design-forward commercial interior design and construction firm to bring on a Project Coordinator to join their dynamic, multi-disciplinary, and collaborative environment. Led by an approachable and inspiring group of design and construction leaders, our Client's team is known for delivering thoughtfully executed commercial, tenant improvement spaces across the Lower Mainland. Blending construction expertise with strong design sensibility, our Client offers a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented mid-level professional who enjoys being an integral part of project execution—where design vision meets built reality.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
As the right-hand to the Construction Manager, you are an experienced and highly competent Project Coordinator, who plays a pivotal role in ensuring projects run smoothly from pre-construction through to completion. Acting as a key connector between construction, interior design, and external partners, you will help bring complex commercial projects to life with precision and efficiency. You are systems, process, and technology-driven, and enjoy both the structure of project administration and the dynamic nature of on-site coordination—balancing documentation, communication, scheduling, and problem-solving in equal measure.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
  • 5+ years of experience in a Project Coordinator or similar role within commercial construction, design-build, or tenant improvement environments
  • Education in Construction Management, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation, scheduling, and budgeting processes
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
  • Experience coordinating RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings
  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
  • Familiarity with BC building codes, permitting, and local construction practices
