Our client is a well-established and highly respected distributor and manufacturer of forest and building products, with a strong footprint across lumber, plywood, decking, and specialty materials. Their Specialty Panels Division services a loyal, long-standing customer base of commercial and office furniture manufacturers, supplying high-quality raw panels and wood products used in everything from desks and conference tables to full commercial interiors.
This team has been built over decades and is now entering a planned succession phase, with several long-tenured sales professionals approaching retirement. As a result, our client is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Representative to step into an established territory with existing accounts and continue driving growth.
The Opportunity
This is a senior, relationship-driven sales role inheriting an established book of business generating approximately $1M in annual sales, within a broader $25M specialty panels portfolio. The successful hire will hunt for new business while also working closely with long-standing customers while identifying opportunities to grow accounts across existing and new product lines.
You will sell raw specialty panels and wood products into office and commercial furniture manufacturers, supporting the materials that go into desks, conference tables, cabinetry, millwork, and other commercial interior applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an established GTA territory with existing, long-standing accounts
- Maintain and deepen relationships with office furniture manufacturers and OEMs
- Hunt and target new potential clients/business
- Sell and push specialty wood panels and related products used in commercial furniture applications
- Act as a trusted product and industry resource to customers
- Identify opportunities for incremental growth within existing accounts
- Collaborate internally with operations, sourcing, and leadership teams
- Manage territory autonomously in a hybrid work environment
- 5-10+ years of B2B sales experience within industrial panels, furniture, specialty wood products, or lumber
- Direct experience selling to office furniture manufacturers or commercial millwork clients
- Strong understanding of panel products used in commercial furniture and interior applications
- Proven ability to manage and grow an established book of business
- Comfortable operating independently in a hybrid / territory-based role
- Relationship-driven, consultative sales style
