Operations Lead
Winnipeg | Full-Time | In-Office
$80,000 – $90,000
We’re working with a well-established, locally rooted commercial interiors organization in Winnipeg that is looking to bring on an Operations Lead to support and streamline their growing project and service delivery team.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing a small but critical team, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment and enjoys being at the center of project execution.
THE ROLE
This organization partners closely with business owners, A&D teams, and project stakeholders to deliver end-to-end workplace solutions — from planning and design through to installation and completion.
As the Operations Lead, you’ll be responsible for ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly — coordinating people, timelines, and processes to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with a high level of accuracy.
You’ll oversee a Coordinator and Scheduler, acting as the go-to person for operational alignment across sales, design, and installation teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Lead and support a small operations team (Coordinator + Scheduler), ensuring clear priorities and accountability
- Oversee project flow from order through to installation and close-out
- Coordinate scheduling, logistics, and internal communication across multiple projects
- Ensure accuracy across orders, documentation, and timelines
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively problem-solve to keep projects moving
- Work cross-functionally with sales, design, and installation teams to ensure seamless execution
- Support continuous improvement of processes, systems, and workflows
- Maintain a high standard of customer experience through strong internal organization
- Competitive salary: $80,000 – $90,000
- Comprehensive health and benefits package
- A collaborative, team-first culture with strong tenure
- Exposure to a wide range of commercial projects (corporate, healthcare, education, government)
- A stable, growing organization with deep roots in the local market
- Experience in operations, project coordination, or project management (ideally within construction, interiors, furniture, or a related industry)
- Strong attention to detail — you catch what others miss
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple moving parts at once
- A proactive mindset — you anticipate issues before they happen
- A team-first attitude with strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Detail-oriented to your core
- A natural problem solver
- Someone who takes ownership and follows things through
- A team player who can also operate independently
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritize effectively
