The Role:
As National Sales Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of seven Outside Sales Representatives across the country. You’ll set strategic direction, execute growth initiatives, and build strong customer and channel relationships. Your leadership will play a pivotal role in shaping the team’s success and strengthening the company’s market presence nationwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a national sales team of seven Outside Sales Representatives
- Create and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify new business opportunities and emerging markets
- Analyze sales performance and provide actionable insights to optimize team effectiveness
- Represent the organization at trade shows, customer visits, and industry events (travel approximately 30%)
- Proven track record in sales leadership within industrial supply or a strong background in distribution
- Strong ability to inspire, develop, and lead sales professionals toward collective success
- Strategic thinker with excellent business acumen and executional drive
- Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and coaching skills
- Comfortable with national travel (approximately 30%)
