Landscape Architect (Confidential Client - Toronto, ON)
We are partnering with a well-established, design-led practice in Toronto to confidentially recruit a Landscape Architect. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team known for thoughtful, high-quality design across residential, commercial, and institutional projects.

About the Role
As a Landscape Architect, you will contribute to project delivery from concept through construction across a range of project scales and types. You will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, support design excellence, and contribute to the evolving culture of the studio.
This role is ideal for an experienced design professional who enjoys client engagement, supporting junior staff members, and maintaining strong hands-on involvement in design and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support landscape architecture projects from schematic design through construction documentation and administration
• Develop creative and contextually responsive design solutions for residential, commercial, and institutional environments
• Coordinate with internal design teams and external consultants (architects, engineers, urban designers, planners)
• Contribute to design quality, technical development, and project delivery in line with client expectations and budgets
• Prepare and contribute to design drawings, specifications, reports, and presentation materials
• Produce high-quality visual materials, including renderings, diagrams, and presentation graphics to communicate design intent
• Support junior team members, fostering professional growth and design thinking
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and support business development efforts
• Advocate for sustainable design principles and best practices in all aspects of project work

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional landscape architecture experience with increasing responsibility on a range of project types
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design excellence, including high-quality renderings and visual communication across residential, commercial, and institutional project types
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Ontario Association of Landscape Architects (OALA)
• Strong design sensibility with the ability to develop thoughtful, well-resolved, creative solutions
• Excellent graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and support team members
• Solid technical knowledge of materials, grading, planting design, and detailing
• Comfortable with project management, scheduling, and client relations
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, or similar)
