What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading the development process for residential and mixed-use projects from acquisition through to completion
- Managing municipal approval processes, including rezoning, subdivision, and development permits
- Coordinating consultants, legal, leasing, construction, and design teams to achieve project milestones
- Preparing and monitoring proformas, budgets, schedules, and cash flow reports
- Conducting feasibility studies, market research, and due diligence on new opportunities
- Preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership and ownership groups
- Representing the company with municipal authorities, community stakeholders, and industry groups
- Supporting land acquisition and partnership negotiations in collaboration with senior leadership
- Post-secondary education in real estate, urban planning, construction, business, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, construction, or a related industry
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
- Strong understanding of municipal approvals, development agreements, and stakeholder engagement
- Financial acumen with experience preparing and managing proformas and budgets
- Ability to lead consultants and internal teams while building trust with external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership and public audiences
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and digital file systems
