The Right Fit:

En tant que Junior Development Manager, you will report to the Executive Vice President and lead projects through the full development cycle, from acquisition and due diligence through approvals, design coordination, and construction oversight.

You will act as the key liaison between consultants, municipalities, and internal stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and in line with company standards. This role is best suited for someone who thrives on responsibility, communicates effectively with senior stakeholders, and takes initiative in driving projects forward.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Leading the development process for residential and mixed-use projects from acquisition through to completion
  • Managing municipal approval processes, including rezoning, subdivision, and development permits
  • Coordinating consultants, legal, leasing, construction, and design teams to achieve project milestones
  • Preparing and monitoring proformas, budgets, schedules, and cash flow reports
  • Conducting feasibility studies, market research, and due diligence on new opportunities
  • Preparing and presenting reports to senior leadership and ownership groups
  • Representing the company with municipal authorities, community stakeholders, and industry groups
  • Supporting land acquisition and partnership negotiations in collaboration with senior leadership
What You Bring to the Table:
  • Post-secondary education in real estate, urban planning, construction, business, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in real estate development, construction, or a related industry
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
  • Strong understanding of municipal approvals, development agreements, and stakeholder engagement
  • Financial acumen with experience preparing and managing proformas and budgets
  • Ability to lead consultants and internal teams while building trust with external stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leadership and public audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management tools, and digital file systems
