If you understand the difference that gauge, width, grade, finish, colour and coating can make to a customer’s order, we want to talk.
We’re recruiting an Inside Sales Representative for a well-established metals distribution company serving customers throughout the construction and manufacturing industries.
We’re particularly interested in people from steel service centres, metal distribution, steel and aluminum sheet and coil, roofing and cladding, roll forming, metal building products and metal fabrication.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
You have inside sales, customer service or sales support experience in steel, metals, industrial distribution or metal building products.
You understand specification-driven products where gauge, dimensions, grade, coating, colour and finish matter.
Experience with prepainted steel or aluminum, sheet and coil products would be particularly valuable.
You’re comfortable quoting, processing orders, checking inventory and managing multiple customer requirements in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Experience with steel service centres, metal distribution, roofing and cladding, roll forming, fabrication or metal building products is an asset.

- Assist customers with product selection, specifications and pricing
- Check inventory, material availability and lead times
- Manage orders from inquiry through delivery
- Respond to customer inquiries and requests for quotation
- Resolve order changes, product questions and delivery issues
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships
- Work closely with sales, operations and internal teams
