What You'll Be Doing
- Manage day-to-day operations across a portfolio of industrial and retail properties
- Build strong tenant relationships and respond to operational requests, service issues, and lease-related matters
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and monitor monthly financial performance against NOI targets
- Review property financials, invoices, recoveries, and operating costs alongside accounting support
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs and oversee building condition standards
- Manage vendors and contractors including tendering, pricing reviews, scheduling, and performance oversight
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure deficiencies are addressed promptly
- Work closely with ownership on capital projects, operational planning, and portfolio priorities
- Collaborate with leasing, accounting, and external service providers to support overall asset performance
- Ensure properties operate in compliance with safety standards, policies, and applicable regulations
What You Bring to the Table
- 5+ years of commercial property management experience with exposure to industrial and/or retail assets
- Strong budgeting, financial reporting, and operational management skills
- Experience managing contractors, service agreements, and maintenance programs
- Ability to build strong tenant relationships while maintaining professionalism and accountability
- Organized and proactive approach with strong prioritization and follow-through
- Solid understanding of building operations and property maintenance practices
- Strong communication skills with tenants, vendors, ownership, and internal teams
- Experience with property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
