Our client is a well-established manufacturer of cold-formed steel building products seeking an experienced Field Service Technician, Industrial Service Technician, Mechanical Service Technician, Commissioning Technician, Millwright, Industrial Electrician, or Senior Maintenance Technician who is ready to bring their technical expertise into a plant-based manufacturing environment.

Working closely with the Plant Manager, you'll play a key role in improving equipment reliability, maximizing machine uptime, supporting capital projects, and helping shape the future of the maintenance department.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair complex industrial production equipment.
• Improve equipment reliability and maximize machine uptime.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Partner with production and plant leadership on equipment upgrades, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with equipment installations and process improvements.
• Help build a proactive maintenance culture focused on reliability, safety, and operational excellence.

Ideal Background
Experience installing, commissioning, servicing, troubleshooting, or maintaining automated industrial equipment such as:

• Roll forming and metal forming equipment
• Tube mills and coil processing lines
• Wire & cable manufacturing equipment
• Packaging or food processing equipment
• Plastics or extrusion equipment
• Automated manufacturing and material handling systems
• Other continuous manufacturing equipment

You'll also bring:

• Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with equipment installation, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• A desire to play a larger role in improving equipment performance and maintenance reliability.
