Lead the Shift. Enjoy a 3-Day Weekend. Every Week. Our client, a well-established industrial distributor, is seeking a Distribution Supervisor to lead its afternoon/evening operation in Regina.

You'll supervise a small team of 3–4 employees and take ownership of shipping, receiving and order processing during your shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving Supervisor, Distribution Supervisor or Team Lead who is ready for greater responsibility with a stable organization.

And the schedule is hard to beat: work Monday through Thursday and enjoy a three-day weekend every week.

What You'll Do

• Supervise a team of 3–4 employees across shipping, receiving and order processing
• Set daily priorities, assign work and coordinate workflow throughout the shift
• Ensure inbound and outbound materials are processed accurately and on schedule
• Monitor safety, productivity, attendance and performance
• Coach employees, provide direction and address issues proactively
• Review shipping and receiving documentation, including partial shipments and back orders
• Coordinate with carriers, logistics providers, customer service and other departments
• Ensure drivers and carriers comply with site safety requirements
• Resolve shipping, receiving and order-related issues before they impact customers
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and overall warehouse processes

This is a supervisory role within a unionized environment. Your responsibility is to lead, coordinate and manage the operation while respecting the responsibilities and boundaries of the collective agreement.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse, shipping/receiving, distribution, logistics or a related environment
• Previous supervisory, team lead or leadership experience
• Ability to assign work, manage priorities and hold people accountable
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP, inventory or warehouse management systems
• Good understanding of warehouse safety and compliance
• Previous experience in a unionized environment is an asset

Experience in industrial distribution, steel or metals, building materials, manufacturing, MRO, transportation, plumbing, HVAC, electrical or contractor supply would be particularly relevant.
