About the Position

Join a growing commercial interiors organization that is expanding its footprint across Florida and investing in the future of its business. We are seeking an experienced Directeur des ventes to provide strategic leadership for our Florida operations, driving business growth while developing and leading a high-performing sales team.

This position can be based in Jacksonville or Tampa and is responsible for sales leadership throughout the state of Florida. Regular travel between both offices, as well as throughout the region, is an essential part of the role.

As the Directeur des ventes, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and executing business development strategies across the Florida market. You will build and strengthen relationships with clients, architects, interior designers, commercial real estate professionals, project managers, general contractors, developers, and industry partners while providing leadership, coaching, and direction to the sales team.

Working closely with executive leadership, you will help shape the company's continued growth by identifying new opportunities, supporting major client pursuits, improving sales performance, and fostering a culture built around collaboration, accountability, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements
  • 6+ years of commercial interiors, contract furniture, workplace solutions, or related B2B sales experience.
  • 2+ years of sales leadership or management experience is preferred, with demonstrated success coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue and profitability targets.
  • An established network within Florida's commercial interiors market, including relationships with architects, interior designers, commercial real estate professionals, developers, end users, project managers, and general contractors.
  • Strong business development, relationship management, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, forecasting, sales reporting, and pipeline management.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans while identifying opportunities for market growth.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout Florida, including frequent travel between Jacksonville and Tampa.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for Florida, driving sustainable revenue growth and increased market share.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, and inspire the Florida sales team, creating a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and results.
  • Establish annual sales objectives, business plans, and growth strategies while monitoring team performance against established goals.
  • Drive new business development initiatives while identifying opportunities to expand existing client relationships throughout the region.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, commercial real estate firms, corporate clients, project managers, and general contractors.
  • Partner with sales professionals on key pursuits, presentations, negotiations, and major client opportunities.
  • Oversee forecasting, sales pipeline management, budgeting, and performance reporting to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with broader organizational goals and long-term growth strategies.
  • Work closely with design, project management, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and an outstanding client experience.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain top sales talent while creating clear development plans for continued career growth.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities for strategic expansion.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, networking functions, trade associations, and client meetings to strengthen brand presence throughout Florida.
  • Champion the effective use of CRM systems, sales tools, and reporting processes to improve efficiency and visibility across the business.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative culture that encourages innovation, continuous improvement, and professional development.
  • Perform other leadership responsibilities as required to support the continued success and growth of the organization.
