THE ROLE
We're partnering with a well-established, design-driven organization in the architectural interiors space to find a Business Development Manager.
This is a high-impact, client-facing role centered on driving new business, strengthening relationships within the A&D community, and expanding market share through a consultative, specification-led approach.
You'll be working closely with architects, designers, general contractors, and dealer partners, positioning a strong, design-forward product offering across workplace and commercial environments.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Driving new business through strategic prospecting, networking, and industry engagement
- Building and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, general contractors, and real estate partners
- Managing and growing a pipeline through consistent CRM usage and disciplined follow-up
- Delivering compelling presentations to the A&D community and project stakeholders
- Partnering with dealer channels to support product knowledge, alignment, and opportunity development
- Collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to maximize specification and sales opportunities
- Staying ahead of market trends and competitive offerings
- Representing the brand at key industry events and associations
- 3-5+ years of experience in architectural interiors, contract furniture, construction, or a related industry
- Proven success in a business development or specification-driven sales role
- Strong network within the A&D community is a major asset
- Confident communicator with strong presentation skills
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to win
- Comfortable managing a territory and traveling as needed
- Strong, recognizable brand with a solid reputation in the industry
- High level of autonomy with real ownership over your territory
