The Opportunity In this role, you will take ownership of a defined territory, managing existing customer relationships while actively developing new business. You’ll work closely with internal teams to support the full sales cycle—from initial quote to final shipment—while positioning yourself as a trusted partner to customers.

What You’ll Do:
- Manage the full lifecycle of sales orders, from quoting and order entry through shipment and delivery
- Collaborate with internal departments including credit, purchasing, warehouse, and logistics to ensure seamless execution
- Grow the territory by identifying and developing new customer accounts
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers, increasing share of wallet
- Build strong, long-term partnerships through consistent communication and service
- Demonstrate strong business acumen, organization, and attention to detail
- Proactively solve problems and manage multiple customer priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Travel regularly within the territory while operating from the Oshawa-based sales office when not in the field
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience within the steel or metals industry
- Post-secondary education (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently
- Comfort managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic sales tools
- High level of professionalism, accountability, and follow-through
- Bilingualism in French and English
