The Right Fit:
The Residential Property Manager works closely with operations, leasing, maintenance, and leadership teams to oversee the day-to-day management of a residential portfolio.
This role is responsible for balancing tenant service, leasing activity, operational coordination, and property performance across multiple sites. The successful candidate brings strong organization, follow-through, and communication skills, along with the ability to confidently manage priorities in a busy environment.
The position suits someone who enjoys working directly with tenants, vendors, and contractors while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accountability. A strong understanding of residential tenancy operations and property management systems is important for success in this role.
What You'll be Doing:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of a residential property portfolio
- Coordinating leasing activity including showings, applications, renewals, and move-ins
- Responding to tenant inquiries, concerns, and service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Overseeing maintenance requests, vendor scheduling, and repair coordination
- Conducting regular property inspections to maintain building standards and identify issues proactively
- Monitoring rent collections, arrears, and lease compliance matters
- Preparing operational and occupancy reports for leadership review
- Working closely with contractors, service providers, and internal departments to support portfolio performance
What You Bring to the Table:
- RECA license is required
- Previous residential property management experience is required
- Experience using Yardi or similar property management software
- Strong administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Professional communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple properties and competing priorities effectively
- Comfortable working independently while remaining collaborative with internal teams
- Experience in leasing, tenant relations, or sales-focused environments is considered an asset
