This role operates as a player-coach, leading a team of three Outside Sales Representatives while managing your own territory based within in the Lower Mainland. You will drive sales growth, strengthen key relationships, and build a high-performance culture aligned with regional objectives.
You will also play a role within the Western Canada Sales Leadership Team, contributing to broader strategy and execution across the region.

The Role
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Outside Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales and margin targets
- Maintain ownership of a personal territory, managing a handful of key accounts and driving growth and retention within those relationships
- Build and execute account plans to increase market share and deepen customer relationships
- Stay actively engaged with customers as a trusted advisor across your region
- Use CRM and forecasting tools to track performance, identify opportunities, and improve results
- Drive accountability and performance through structured coaching and regular field engagement
- Align team activity with regional strategy, ensuring consistent execution
- Work cross-functionally with operations, logistics, and finance to resolve issues and support customers
- Identify market opportunities and contribute to product category growth
The Individual
- 3 to 5 years of leadership experience within a sales environment
- Background in building materials, distribution, or a related industry is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to grow accounts and expertly manage key customer relationships
- Experience leading and developing sales teams with a focus on performance and accountability
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in planning, forecasting, and execution
- Confident communicator who can engage both customers and internal stakeholders
- Hands-on approach with a willingness to stay active in the field
- High level of ownership, resilience, and consistency in delivering results
- Degree in business or related field is an asset, equivalent experience will also be considered
What You Can Expect
- Base salary range of $110,000 - $130,000 base + bonus + strong benefits package + RRSP matching.
