Live In Resident Manager

Location: Kelowna, BC
Industry: Residential Property Management
Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 plus rent subsidy

Our client is a respected property management firm known for maintaining high-quality rental communities across BC. They're seeking a dependable live-in Resident Manager for a new 114-unit building in North Kelowna. The company values professionalism, reliability, and exceptional resident service. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on work, clear communication, and maintaining well-run buildings.

The Right Fit:

As the on-site Resident Manager, you'll oversee daily building operations, tenant relations, and maintenance coordination. You'll report to the Property Manager and support contractors as needed. Success in this role requires initiative, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Prior experience in residential management or building operations is essential.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Deliver responsive, high-quality service to residents
  • Enforce the Residential Tenancy Act and maintain compliance documentation
  • Manage move-ins, move-outs, and suite showings
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in common areas
  • Conduct regular inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance
  • Perform minor repairs and supervise contractors
  • Handle rent collection and record keeping
  • Participate in emergency response and safety procedures

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property or building management
  • Strong working knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
  • Proven ability in maintenance and cleaning duties
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Must live on-site
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle an asset
