I’m currently partnering with a well-established Vancouver based company that is expanding through acquisitions and looking to add a technically strong Senior Accountant to their team.
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will play a key role in financial reporting, technical accounting, and supporting acquisition activity from due diligence through post-close integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead accounting for business combinations under ASPE, including purchase price allocations
- Prepare technical accounting memos and support complex accounting conclusions
- Assist with financial due diligence and transaction support
- Support post-acquisition integration of accounting processes, systems, and controls
- Own key areas of month-end and year-end close
- Prepare working papers and liaise directly with external auditors
- Identify and implement process improvements within a growing organization
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, tax advisors, and leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
- CPA designated essential
- Strong hands-on technical accounting experience (full accounting cycle), experience with Power Query, Power BI, or finance automation is an asset.
- Industry experience or solid Big 4 / public practice articling background.
- Proven ability to work independently and own deliverables.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
- Willingness to work overtime during peak periods (month-end, year-end, acquisitions).
- Experience supporting acquisitions or integrations is an asset.
