Salary: $80,000 - $100,000k + bonus
Our client, a well-established and highly respected organization within the contract furniture industry, is seeking an Account Manager - National Accounts to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys client interaction, project coordination, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to bring workplace environments to life.
Working alongside the National Accounts team, this individual will act as the primary point of contact for project implementation across an established portfolio of clients. The role is highly collaborative and works closely with internal client services, CAD/design teams, manufacturing partners, and external stakeholders including designers, architects, general contractors, and project management firms.
THE ROLE
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as the lead point of contact from initial client request through project completion
- Managing day-to-day client communication, project updates, and implementation timelines
- Preparing proposals, quotations, furniture specifications, and product solutions
- Coordinating with manufacturing and vendor partners to fulfill contractual obligations
- Reviewing drawings and layouts to ensure accuracy and project alignment
- Working alongside internal design, CAD, and client services teams to support project delivery
- Obtaining delivery and installation pricing based on project location and scope
- Supporting installation coordination, site visits, reconfigurations, and final walkthroughs
- Creating and managing deficiency lists while proposing practical solutions
- Assisting with RFP responses and presentation materials as required
- Building and maintaining strong relationships within the A&D, contractor, and PM community
- 3+ years of experience within the contract furniture industry
- Experience in account management, project coordination, furniture sales, installation, or client services
- Strong understanding of commercial furniture products, specifications, and project processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship management skills
- Strong spatial awareness with the ability to interpret layouts and planning concepts
- Experience with facilities management, project management, or interior design is considered an asset
- Commercial or residential design experience is also considered an asset
