About the Role:

The company is seeking a driven and customer-focused Territory Sales Representative to manage sales in the Indianapolis, IN region. This individual will be responsible for building relationships with contractors, builders, and architects, while driving business through distribution partners. You will play a crucial role in expanding the customer base, promoting products across various categories, and supporting the company's growth in the state of Indiana.

Responsibilities include leveraging product knowledge to deliver customer training, gathering market insights, and providing valuable feedback to the team. The role also involves fieldwork, traveling within the territory, and participating in sales calls, presentations, and industry events as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and distribution partners.
  • Conduct in-field training and presentations to increase product awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Gather competitor insights and share findings with the team to identify market gaps and opportunities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing product inquiries and providing insights.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with branch and regional leaders at distribution locations.
  • Document interactions and sales opportunities using CRM software (Salesforce).
  • Collaborate with the internal team to communicate customer needs and feedback for product development.
About the Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a motivated, problem-solving professional with a passion for building relationships and driving sales. They should have experience in managing a territory and working closely with customers to deliver exceptional service. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the building materials or construction industry (exterior products is a plus).
  • A proven track record of managing customer relationships and exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and standard office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
