TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER – EASTERN & NORTHERN ONTARIO

Opportunity for an ambitious individual to grow into a larger leadership role as part of the company’s long-term succession planning.


Our client is a well-established and growing organization within the building materials and building envelope sector, supporting industrial, commercial, agricultural, and residential construction projects across Ontario.

This is a high-autonomy, relationship-driven territory role managing an established contractor and project-based customer base across Eastern and Northern Ontario.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with contractors, supporting real construction projects from bid to build, and selling technical solutions rather than commodity products.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
• Manage and grow an established base of contractor and project accounts across Eastern & Northern Ontario
• Build on established relationships with General Contractors, builders, installers, and project teams
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities within the territory
• Review drawings, specifications, and complete material takeoffs to support project quoting
• Provide technical product guidance and application support
• Engage early in the project cycle to help influence product selection and project outcomes
• Manage your territory independently with strong support from internal teams
• Travel throughout the territory to maintain customer relationships and support ongoing projects

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
• 5+ years of experience in building materials, construction products, insulation, cladding, roofing, waterproofing, or related systems
• Experience working with contractors in project-driven environments
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and perform takeoffs
• Strong relationship-building and territory management skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable managing a large territory independently
• Technical mindset with the ability to support customers beyond transactional sales
• Willingness to travel throughout Eastern & Northern Ontario
