This is a full-cycle, A to Z accounting role responsible for a portfolio of commercial properties. The position suits someone who takes ownership of their work, is detail-oriented, and enjoys working closely with operations to drive results.
The role offers long-term growth, with the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as the portfolio expands. A professional accounting designation is required, along with strong experience in commercial property accounting.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of industrial and retail properties
- Preparation of monthly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis
- Annual budgeting and reforecasting in collaboration with the Property Manager
- CAM recoveries, reconciliations, and tenant billings
- Accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and tenant communication
- Bank and GL reconciliations, journal entries, and working papers
- Supporting year-end processes and working with external accountants
- Monitoring operating costs and identifying opportunities to improve performance
- CPA designation is ideal
- 7+ years of commercial property accounting experience
- Strong understanding of recoveries, leases, and property-level financial reporting
- Experience working closely with property management teams
- High attention to detail and strong ownership of work
- Proficiency in accounting systems and Excel
- Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines independently
- Yardi experience is a definite asset
