Senior Procurement Specialist
Location: Moncton or Dieppe, NB
Salary: $80,000 – $97,000 base

We are partnering with a well-established and rapidly evolving Canadian manufacturing group with a strong footprint across North America. The organization specializes in the design, sourcing, and distribution of high-volume building and industrial products, supporting both retail and professional channels.

The Opportunity
This is a strategic and hands-on role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, where you will take ownership of procurement activities across a large and diversified product portfolio.

You will play a critical role in optimizing inventory, driving supplier performance, and supporting operational efficiency, while acting as a key resource within the team and stepping in to support leadership when required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage procurement across a portfolio of 7,000+ SKUs
  • Oversee inventory control, forecasting, and optimization strategies
  • Lead supplier negotiations and contract management (North America & overseas)
  • Work directly with manufacturing plants and key suppliers
  • Develop and maintain advanced analytical and performance reports
  • Monitor market conditions, pricing, and supply chain risks
  • Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and production teams
  • Support the department and step in during Director absence
Profile Sought
  • Minimum 5+ years of procurement experience within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong exposure to North American and international sourcing
  • Experience managing high SKU complexity environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (reporting, analysis, forecasting)
  • Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Experience with metal, aluminum, or wood products is a strong asset
  • Highly proactive, self-driven, and entrepreneurial
  • Comfortable in a fast-moving, hands-on environment
  • Natural sense of ownership with the ability to operate autonomously
