What You'll Be Doing
- Manage day-to-day operations across a portfolio of retail and commercial properties
- Lead and support on site administrative teams, set goals, and oversee performance
- Prepare and manage annual operating budgets and monitor monthly financial performance to achieve NOI targets
- Analyze financial results, market trends, and long-term capital plans to support asset strategy
- Build and maintain strong tenant relationships and respond to property management issues
- Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance programs, including annual building inspections
- Manage contractors, including tendering, bid analysis, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring
- Collaborate with leasing, construction, legal, accounting, and marketing teams to support portfolio objectives
- 5+ years of commercial/retail property management experience
- Strong financial acumen with proven budgeting and expense management experience
- Hands-on experience with managing outside vendors, contractors, and other partners
- Demonstrated leadership experience supervising a team
- Solid understanding of building systems and maintenance standards
- Strong communication and presentation skills with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders
