We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager with steel & metals industry experience to lead and empower a sales team. A strong people manager, who enjoys collaborating on sales strategies, utilizing analytical tools to measure performance and has an ability to inspire and motivate their team.

The Sales Manager is vital to the success of a sales department. This role involves managing sales goals, hiring, coaching and training staff to achieve targets, develop new business opportunities and manage existing accounts while continuing to deliver high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activities of the inside and outside sales team
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the business, ensuring growth, competitive advance for products and services as well as client retention
- Stay up to date with buying trends, new products development and changes within the industry
- Conduct sales meetings, set objectives, review progress and continuous improvement
- Provide support and tools necessary for team to be efficient and effective
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure high level customer satisfaction
- Manage sales processes from lead generation, quoting, processing orders through to follow-up
- Provide top level support to employees through mentoring, motivating, coaching, training and recognition.
Requirements:
- Must have experience working in steel or metals industry
- 5+ years in sales leadership with proven ability to coach and mentor
- Post secondary education in Business Admin/Marketing or Metallurgy
- Strong business acumen with a keen interest in driving business forward while ensuring a high level of customer and employee satisfaction
- Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills
- Proven management and leadership abilities
What We Offer:
• Base salary $115K - $130K++ depending on experience, profit sharing, comprehensive benefits, recognition program + more perks
• Portion of Relocation cost will be considered
