What You'll Be Doing
- Complete site assessments, develop project scopes, and prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate.
- Manage multiple insurance restoration projects from initial site inspection through to completion.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, profitability, and overall project performance.
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners, insurance adjusters, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare work orders for dispatch and maintain accurate project documentation throughout each project.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, and customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, mitigation partners, and referral sources to support future business opportunities.
- Experience managing restoration, insurance repair, renovation, or construction projects.
- Restoration and insurance claims experience is an asset, but not essential for candidates with strong construction project management experience and a willingness to learn.
- Previous experience working with insurance claims and insurance adjusters is an asset.
- Strong estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and project management skills.
- Experience with Xactimate or similar estimating software is highly valued; training can be provided for the right candidate.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A collaborative leadership style with a proactive, customer-first approach.
- Confidence using technology and adapting to new systems.
- Residential construction experience.
- Candidates with an established industry network or book of business are encouraged to apply.
