This is a unique opportunity to join an established family-owned General Contractor in Ottawa, ONTARIO focused in commercial construction throughout various sectors including High-Rise Residential, Corporate, ICI, and Technology facilities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The Project Manager will oversee high-rise construction projects (20+ storeys) in Ottawa, managing the full project cycle from budgeting to contract closeout.
They will collaborate with various departments and support senior management in driving business growth and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in construction project management, specifically in high-rise projects, and strong leadership, time management, and communication skills. A degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is required, along with proficiency in project management software.
This candidate will have the following aspects;
- 7-10 years’ experience working in construction project management
- Excellent experience working with high-rise construction projects in the Ontario region
- Sold leadership skills, able to manage a project from start to finish and lead a team
- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
- Strong computer skills (project management software)
- Outstanding communication skills – able to build and maintain relationships across business and with clients
- Comfortable with presentations and leading meetings
