About Opportunity
A well-established construction company with a close-knit team is seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join their office. This role is best suited for someone who takes initiative, enjoys staying busy, interacting with people and is eager to learn all aspects of office operations.

In its truest sense, this position acts as a key assistant to the office team, primarily supporting the Accountant, while also handling reception duties and assisting with AP/AR and purchasing coordination.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Greet visitors, answer and direct calls, and manage front desk responsibilities.
  • Manage mail, office supplies and general office tasks to support daily operations.
  • Accounts Payable support such as: Process invoices, maintain accurate records, and support day-to-day AP functions using Sage 50.
  • Prepare and send invoices, reconcile accounts and communicate with customers regarding payments or account status.
  • Assist with purchasing materials, entering purchase orders, and coordinating with vendors and delivery schedules.
  • Support project teams, accountant and management with additional office tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with Sage 50 or similar accounting software is an asset.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR) knowledge is a strong asset.
  • Background in accounting, administration, or customer service preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • A team player mindset with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Someone who is a quick learner ("sponge") and naturally looks for ways to stay productive—proactively jumping in to support wherever needed.
