$70,000 – $75,000 Base + Profit Share + RRSP + Benefits

We are partnering with a well-established and highly respected distributor of premium wood products across North America, known for its operational excellence, strong supplier relationships, and consistent growth. This organization plays a critical role in sourcing and delivering high-quality materials to a diverse client base across the U.S. and Canada.

This role is based in Vancouver and supports clients across the Eastern United States, requiring an early start to align with those time zones (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, in-office).

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to learn the business from the inside, develop strong commercial acumen, and progress into an Outside Sales position over time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and process customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
  • Act as a primary point of contact for Eastern U.S. clients and customers
  • Support Outside Sales Representatives with quoting, pricing, and project coordination
  • Coordinate logistics, trucking, and delivery timelines to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Communicate proactively with customers regarding order status, changes, and timelines
  • Handle claims, resolve issues, and maintain a high level of customer service
  • Maintain and update internal systems, ensuring data integrity and visibility
  • Contribute ideas to improve internal processes and enhance the customer experience
  • Serve as backup support to the Outside Sales team when required
Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in building a career in sales within the building materials or wood products industry
  • High attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable working with numbers, pricing, and Excel-based tasks
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships remotely
  • Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a desire to grow
  • Ability to work early hours (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM) in-office to support Eastern time zones
This position reports directly to senior leadership and offers strong exposure to both the commercial and operational sides of the business.
