We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-performing location generating over $10M in annual revenue. This is a leadership role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is passionate about driving team performance, operational excellence, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team to achieve sales and budget targets while delivering exceptional customer service
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company standards
- Hold team members accountable for performance, safety practices, and achievement of individual and store objectives
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, development, performance management, and employee relations
- Foster a positive, engaging workplace culture through strong communication and leadership
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant health, safety, and government regulations
- Drive revenue growth by setting targets, analyzing market trends, and implementing local initiatives
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, expense control, invoicing, and account management
- Maintain accurate inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies
- Oversee documentation accuracy across systems, billing, and operational processes
- Implement tools, metrics, and reporting to track and improve business performance
- Lead safety initiatives and enforce all health & safety standards and procedures
- 2–5+ years of leadership or management experience, ideally in equipment rental, construction, home improvement, or a related industry
- Post-secondary diploma or degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
