Permanent Position
$31.00 to $41.00/hour based on experience

About the Role
As a Service Technician with a Gasfitter Class B license, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of fueling infrastructure for CNG, LNG, hydrogen, and other alternative energy sources. This is a hands-on position that blends electrical, mechanical, and general maintenance expertise.
 
What You'll Do
Electrical Systems Maintenance:
Inspect and adjust electrical systems including wiring, panels, motors, and frequency drives.
Repair or replace malfunctioning components to meet safety standards and equipment manuals.
Mechanical Systems Maintenance:
Maintain and adjust mechanical systems like compressors, pumps, piping, and valves.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment to restore optimal performance.
Fueling Infrastructure Support:
Conduct periodic inspections of fueling stations to ensure smooth operation.
Detect and resolve faults in CNG, LNG, and hydrogen fueling equipment.
General Maintenance:
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by tidying stations and equipment.
Document all work and updates in service software using tablets and computers.
Installation & Modification:
Assist in installing, upgrading, or removing fueling equipment as needed.
Travel between local and neighboring stations to meet business needs.
 
What You Bring
Education & Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Trade School program in Gasfitting with Class B, Journeyperson or Red Seal preferred.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance.
Skills:
Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.
Comfortable using service software and digital tools.
Licenses:
Gasfitter Class B license required.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical Readiness:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels and physical demands.
