Annie is an experienced Recruiter with a proven track record of success within the Architecture, Design, and Construction industry. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.Annie also has 14 years of experience in Vancouver, BC as a Commercial Interior Designer, specializing in Workplace and Financial Institutions. With Annie’s experience and well-developed network of industry professionals in both Commercial and Residential sectors, she not only has the technical design knowledge, hands-on project experience, she also has the deep-rooted connections within the market needed to develop exceptional client and candidate relationships.Annie puts her design expertise and industry network to use on a variety of search engagements in the Architecture and Design industry. ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our Client creates, manufactures, and markets innovative, decorative, and sustainable flooring and wall surface solutions and finishes. They develop specific solutions to meet every interior market application need: housing, healthcare, education, sport, retail, industry, offices, hospitality, and transportation vehicles. 

ABOUT THE ROLE
Promote, specify, and sell our Client's products in BC, as part of the Western Canadian Region. Through training and experience, the Sales Representative Architecture & Design will use their broad knowledge and excellent social skills to advise and encourage the specification and application of our Client's products with all relevant stakeholders, with a strong emphasis on Architecture & Design specifiers and end-users in the territory. Our Client expects candidates to be result driven and have laser sharp focus on their own sales results, as well as sales pipeline development.

Business Development
  • Generate specifications through relationship selling to Architects, Interior Designers, and end-users.
  • Prepare, organize, and present product knowledge sessions, including CEU presentations and other commercial marketing vehicles, specifically targeted at Architects, Interior Designers, and End User groups.
  • Call on General Contractors and Sub Contractors to support your specifications in the territory.
  • Fully utilize provided lead-generating programs and project tracking applications such as CMD, the Construction Associations, and other associations Our Client has membership in.
Relationship Management
  • Participate in local industry trade shows and events to network with Architects, Interior Designers, and End Users, generating further sales opportunities.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
  • Provide after-sales support, including site visits for installation and maintenance concerns, particularly for end-users.
  • Be an active and engaged team player, contributing positively to regional and national sales results.
Administration
  • Establish travel schedules, set up appointments and meetings, and manage your general work environment.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and progress reports, such as monthly project reports.

  • Proficiency with computers and office software programs.
