Position Overview:
We are seeking a Real Estate Development Manager to join our client's team at their Langley office. The ideal candidate will have three to four years of experience in development management, with a strong background in industrial development and build-to-suit projects. This individual will lead projects independently, while receiving input and guidance from our leadership team.
 
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of real estate development projects from conception to completion
- Lead project teams and coordinate activities of internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct feasibility studies, financial analysis, and risk assessments for potential projects
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, contractors, and other parties
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
- Maintain a thorough understanding of project financials and provide regular updates to senior management
 
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- Three to four years of experience in real estate development management
- Strong technical skills and proficiency in project management software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Sound understanding of project financials and budget management
- Experience in industrial development and build-to-suit projects preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Cultural fit within a small team is essential
