Our client is a well-established Canadian industrial distributor seeking an Administrative Coordinator to support purchasing & logistics leadership across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an administrator who enjoys working with Excel, coordinating multiple moving pieces, and ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities
  • Support purchasing, inventory, and operations teams with administrative activities
  • Communicate with suppliers and internal departments regarding order status and deliveries
  • Assist with freight coordination and logistics administration
  • Process incoming shipment and receiving documentation
  • Coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers across Canada
  • Update purchase orders, delivery schedules, and system information
  • Review and reconcile purchase orders, freight documents, and receiving paperwork
  • Maintain accurate records and shipment updates
  • Ensure documentation and system information remain accurate and current
Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of administrative, coordination, customer service, or office support experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fast and accurate keyboarding skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Grade 12 Diploma
