Looking for a predictable Monday-Friday schedule?<\/span><\/p>\n<p>DMC Recruitment is partnering with an established building products manufacturer to recruit a <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">Logistics Coordinator<\/span> for its manufacturing facility south of Brandon.<\/p>\n<p>This is a hands-on <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">shipping, logistics and transportation coordination<\/span> role where you&#8217;ll take ownership of outbound freight and work directly with production, sales, carriers and customers.<\/p>\n<p>Some days everything goes according to plan. Other days a late order, job-site delivery or changing customer request means you need to find another solution. <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">We&#8217;re looking for the person who knows how to make it happen.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold\">What You&#8217;ll Do<\/span> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan and coordinate outbound shipments, scheduled loads, job-site deliveries and couriers<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate OTR, LTL, flat-deck and other freight requirements<\/li>\n<li>Obtain freight quotes for job-site and non-standard deliveries<\/li>\n<li>Work with carriers to arrange transportation and delivery schedules<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with sales and production when orders, priorities or schedules change<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with customers regarding delivery requirements<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot freight and delivery issues as they arise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">Who We&#8217;re Looking For<\/span> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You may currently be a <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">Dispatcher, Shipping Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Transportation Coordinator, Freight Coordinator, Traffic Coordinator or Load Planner.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Experience with <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">OTR, LTL, flat-deck freight, trucking or job-site deliveries<\/span> would be particularly valuable.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">manufacturing, building products, steel\/metals, agriculture, construction supply, industrial distribution or transportation<\/span> would also transfer well.<\/li>\n<li>You don&#8217;t need building products experience.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What matters most is that you&#8217;re:<\/strong> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Highly organized and able to juggle changing priorities<\/li>\n<li>Resourceful and comfortable solving problems<\/li>\n<li>A strong communicator with good customer-service skills<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working with carriers, customers, sales and production<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with general computer applications including email, Excel and Word<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">What&#8217;s In It for You?<\/span> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight:bold\">$75,000-$100,000<\/span>, depending on experience<\/li>\n<li>Company benefits<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight:bold\">Monday-Friday daytime schedule<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Full-time, permanent employment<\/li>\n<li>An opportunity to take real ownership of the shipping and logistics function<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This is a <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">full-time, on-site position at the manufacturing facility.<\/span> <\/p>\n<p>Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the facility.<\/p>\n<p>If you have experience in <span style=\"font-weight:bold\">shipping, logistics, transportation or dispatch<\/span> and you&#8217;re looking for a role where your ability to organize, problem-solve and keep things moving will be valued, we&#8217;d like to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight:bold\"><span style=\"font-weight:bold\">Apply today for a confidential conversation with DMC Recruitment.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span> DMC Recruitment uses a CRM system that includes AI-assisted screening and summary.
